Excellent B&B to base ourselves on our recent short break. Vaughan & Lizz went out of their way to make us feel welcome in their home and we especially loved the homemade chocolate biscuits, a special touch that reminded me of my Grandmothers cooking, loved it, would highly recommend :) thank you       - Wendy

Fantastic communication and when we arrived we couldn't have asked for more. Attentive service, beautifully presented room and surrounds. Breakfast was beautiful. Spa pool beautifully located to watch the stars. The location is directly across the road from the rowing complex I don't think there would be a closer house to get to the rowing it took us 2 minutes to walk.                  - Karen

I stayed at Conach House Lake Karapiro which you couldn't get a better location for the Maadi Rowing Event
The accommodation was fantastic, very clean, modern and vey comfortable. The surrounding was very peaceful and beautiful and you wouldn't know you were off the main road.
The hosts- what can I say they were absolutely amazing. Nothing was a problem, very friendly and welcoming. Whilst there is plenty to eat in your room for breakfast if you require they will cook a breakfast for you. They also offer evening meals, where you eat with them if you want. I took up their offer to eat with them, what a fantastic family, food was well presented and tasted fantastic. All this for a very very reasonable price.
If you like comfort, quality, peaceful and family host you wouldn't find better.
If my daughter continues to row I will definitely be staying there in two years time.           - Michelle

Awesome luxurious and private rooms, lovely setting and hosts, appreciated the special touches (freshly picked flowers, home baking and fruit salad). Would recommend to anybody, excellent value for money. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again.
